ALWAYS LOVED, NEVER FORGOTTEN

ALWAYS LOVED, NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!!
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...

But first of all to let you know that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there is no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again. You were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things he wished for me to do,
And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night and the days' chores are put to flight...
God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on Earth and all those loving years,
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember, there would be no flowers if there were no rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned,
But if I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is over,
I'm closer to you now than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb,
but together we can do it by taking One Day At A Time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too,
that as you give unto the world the worl will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night, "My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...That my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.

So, if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just end a hand to pick him up as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind,
just know I'm walking in your footsteps onoly half a step behind.
and when it's time for you to go from that body to being free,
remember you're not going...you're coming here to ME...
This was sent to me by a good friend of mine. I am not sure who the author is on it though.

Written by Molly Plant.

This is written by a person who had contact with Corrina Lozoya while at Texas Children's Hospital...

In a lifetime, you will cross paths with many people. Some we meet
only in passing, while others touch our hearts forever. Recently,
I crossed the path of a young family with three children. The
mother was staying at Texas Children’s Hospital with her youngest
daughter, Corrina. They were hoping to find medical answers to
Corrina’s lung problems.

By leading me down this path, God allowed me to meet a wonderful
mother caring for her beautiful daughter, Corrina. My heart
melted at this wonderful little person whose communication skills
were limited to sign language due to her tracheotomy. Corrina
immediately brought love to my heart as I was invited to play in her
world. Corrina taught me the signs for movies, “hold me”, “drink”,
and kisses! At that moment, I felt like the most privileged person
in the world. This strong little girl with smiles on her face stood
before me, asking me to hold her. What a lucky person I was!
After communicating with Corrina’s mother, Patrice, for several
months, I learned that Corrina would undergo a double lung
transplant. Corrina’s parents made this difficult decision after
numerous discussions with the doctors, with each other, and with
concerned family and friends. Corrina was not getting better, and
she needed new lungs to continue her journey through life.
The day of the transplant came, and this brave little girl was taken
to surgery. Corrina did well and held strong after her surgery, but
she was placed in the ICU. She could feel and hear her parents
and brother and sister’s voices as they whispered their love to
her. Corrina spent many weeks in the ICU, but she struggled with
multiple medical issues that began to arise. After many weeks of
love and struggling, the time came for Corrina to pass on from our
life into a life where she is free to run and play and is no longer
hurting or constrained by medical problems.

I was privileged to attend her funeral where I met the many medical
teams and doctors that dedicated their time to Corrina. We all were
able to share in the blessings of being touched by Corrina the Angel!
I will forever hold the memories of this strong, beautiful girl in my
mind and heart. Thank you, Corrina, for sharing with me!
